Song Title: I Come To Offer My Heart

Description:
The story narrates the journey of a mother and her daughter, who has been diagnosed with leukemia, to the capital of Peru.

She desperately needs to get to the INEN hospital because she cannot afford the medical treatment for her little daughter.

The narrative involves us and conveys the hopelessness, anguish, resilience of this mother, and invites us to reflect on "cancer before cancer" that people of low economic resources must go through.

Cultural Context: Peru is a very unequal country economically and with terrible public health. People of low economic resources who cannot access private health care, must settle for public health care, which has the great problem of a system that treats you months or even years later.

Cancer is a disease that the faster you get treatment, the more chances you have to live.

Ponle Corazon is the annual fundraising campaign that the Peruvian Cancer Foundation has been carrying out since 1983, to raise the necessary funds to cover the expenses related to the integral assistance and lodging in the capital for patients with limited resources in the country.
