Description:
Challenges: - The story had to revolve around a "heist" (robbery or similar) and had to be told in a short time. - The video had to be full CGI, with a new aesthetic. Halfway between 3D and 2D, and mixing different visual techniques. - The timing was very tight.
Solution: - We created an original story in which the "coup" consisted of the boy band sneaking into some big movie studios to shoot their first music video. - We developed a "2.8D" aesthetic in which the 3D base had several layers of 2D finishes that we completed with motion graphics and 2D. - We designed a customised workflow and pipeline that allowed us to optimise time and resources.
Result: A few hours after its premiere, the video got more than 6M views on Youtube, positioning itself as number 1 in global trends and reaching more than 52M plays.
