She previously served as the Associate Commercial Creative Director of i-D magazine.
Her deep reflection and multidisciplinary practice transcend categories, spanning the realms of luxury fashion, beauty, music, art, entertainment, publishing, and commerce to develop ideas from conception to execution for campaigns.
Recently, over April 23 & now, she directed a film for Nike Paris titled "Puissance nous," co-directed (along with SheShe) a new Cardi B video directed by OFFSET, and created a film for Vogue & Coach featuring Normani. And this Van’s film with one of the most influential skateboarders of her generation, Lizzie Armanto.
This work particularly shows the director's aptitude for bringing out an artist’s personality; Lizzie has redefined what is possible on a skateboard and inspired countless others to pursue their passions fearlessly.
Chapter 1 of “Always Pushing" features cameos from Eva Armanto (Mom), Mami Tezuka (Skateboarder), Dani Miller (Musician), and Alisa Ueno (DJ/Singer) to celebrate the impactful influence they have had on Lizzie.
Last but not least : from 360-degree advertising to interactive and physical experiences, events, panel discussions, community and editorial programs, to innovative partnerships and unique special projects, the director co-founded the sister creative studio based in London and New York.
