They know all the lyrics to the chants, they go to the stadium every Sunday, they’re loud and hard to be around. Hardcore football fans, right? The truth is there are more hardcore fans out there, but their behaviour is not always the one we’d expect.

Through research and social media listening we found real stories of fans that are not similar to the ones we keep seeing in the media.

Hardcore fans are those who watch the match any day, even on their wedding day. Those who name their kids and pets after their favorite football players. Or those who always find a way to get an autograph.

That’s how a priest and a waitress became characters in our film. They are the true hardcore fans that no one thinks of as being hardcore.

The scenes from the film were inspired by trends and news from the football world. Such as the much talked transfer of Romelu Lukaku or the anonymous Brazilian fan who left his entire estate to Neymar.
