Description:
Last year, our films shut down mayo haters and ketchup-on-hotdoggers (gross). This year, we needed to take it to the next level. So, we decided to take the fight against food faux pas to the most iconic of northeast dining establishments: the diner.
A place known for its absolute lawlessness, from late-night munchers to run-amok toddlers. And we decided to focus on two of the most unacceptable behaviors: ordering fish (it’s no fish and chips, trust us) and public displays of affection.
Then, we got the most opinionated diner of all time to put them in their place: Jason Alexander (aka Seinfeld’s George Costanza). But not just one Jason Alexander. An entire diner full of them. Because with this many strong opinions, one Jason just wasn’t enough.
Instead of settling for one Jason, we ten-tupled down, with each Jason embodying a classic northeast diner personality—all with strong opinions of their own. And with contrasting editing styles— Tilapia’s frenetic pile-on versus Diner Date’s slow, slow burn—we kept our audience coming back for more.
Because when it’s on, it’s really, really on.
