Since time immemorial, the cosmos has exerted a special fascination on us. We pondered how to creatively stage and make this theme accessible to everyone.

To mark the launch of the Galaxy Watch5, we collaborated with the European Space Agency to develop the world's first smartwatch for our solar system. In this way, we make the local times of all 9 planets measurable and hence, experiential.

During the development, we had to completely rethink time because, for example, a day on Venus lasts 243 Earth days, while a day on Jupiter is just under 10 Earth hours.

For each planet, a personalized watch face was created, incorporating additional complications such as moon phases, temperatures, distances to Earth, etc. The Galaxy Time Watchface can be freely installed and used on all Wear OS models.
